Latest - Development

Legal Framework General Data Protection Regulation Standards Development

The Origo Legal Framework (LF) Standards are widely implemented across the Origo Community so it is important that Origo and its Community are confident that they remain fit for purpose in light of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) due to come into effect from 23rd May 2018.

This development project will ensure that Origo Legal Framework Standard Agreements are updated to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulations.  The scope will cover v2.0 and v3.0 of the Legal Framework as well as the Adviser Not Present and Automatic Enrolment Modules.  The project is scheduled to complete in January 2018.

Bulk Transaction History Standards Development

The purpose of this Standards Development is to help improve the communication of Transaction History information to support Advisers in being able to provide clients with an up to date view of transactions via their Client Portal, whilst ensuring that it would not have a negative impact on the Product Provider's core systems (i.e. is scalable).

The Product scope of this Standards Development project is all Origo Standards Product Types with an Investment element, whilst the data scope is the provision of regular, 'bulk' transaction history date feeds from Providers of such data to their consumers.

The project is commencing the Business and Data Requirements stage prior to the technical development.  The target date for the publication of Draft Bulk Transaction History Standards in XML, .CSV and JSON format is Q1 2019 with Final Standards to follow thereafter.

New - Research

Group Risk Research

This research project commenced in September 2018 and its objectives are to analyse and document the current Group Risk processes, identify where Standards might help to support those processes and to assess the demand for Standards to support the Group Risk marketplace.

A Problem Definition Report to present findings, conclusions and recommendations has been published to the Research Group.  Provided agreement on the recommendations is reached, the next step will be to progress with any relevant future activity.

Anyone interested in getting involved in this development project should contact Karen.
